The University of Seychelles and Hilton Seychelles invite the participation of academics, researchers, practitioners, research students to their first interdisciplinary conference on environment, hospitality and sustainability. Increasingly, the issue of environmental sustainability is gaining significant relevance in the hospitality industry across the world. Resorts of all sizes and types are coming up with programmes which advocate good sustainability practices, while at the same time maintaining the satisfaction level of their guests and the viability of the services to a high standard. Although the concept of conservation is paramount to the discussion, the issue of market performance cannot be ignored. This conference offers a platform for academics and practitioners to meaningfully engage in conversations around ensuring the sustainability of those sustainability programmes.
